Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Factory Trainer in Normanton to join a successful FMCG manufacturer. The role offers a competitive salary with a stable, family-feel working environment and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver training to new and existing factory employees.
• Conduct new starter inductions and onboarding.
• Provide practical training across production, processes, safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Assess employee competency and complete sign-offs.
• Maintain training records and skills matrices.
• Identify skills gaps and coordinate refresher training.
• Collaborate with Production, HR, Quality and Health & Safety teams.

As a Factory Trainer, you will work closely with production teams and management to deliver practical, engaging training across the site.You'll support new starters, develop existing employees and ensure training and competency standards are consistently maintained.

Your Role As A Factory Trainer Will Include:

• Deliver training to new and existing factory employees

• Conduct new starter inductions and onboarding

• Provide practical shop-floor training across production and manufacturing

• Train employees on processes, procedures, safety, quality and hygiene standards

• Assess employee competency and complete sign-offs

• Maintain training records, competency documentation and skills matrices

• Identify skills gaps and coordinate refresher and development training

• Work closely with Production, HR, Quality and Health & Safety teams

• Support the introduction of new processes, procedures and equipment

The Role As A Factory Trainer Will Include:

• Experience within training, coaching or employee development

• Manufacturing, FMCG, food production or similar industry experience

• Confident delivering practical training in a factory environment

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Comfortable working with employees at all levels
