Job summary

JRL Modular is seeking a Factory Operative to assemble modular pods and cupboards at our Newark-based facility, located in Carlton on Trent. You will join a team focused on quality, safety and efficiency, using basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical skills where needed.

Ideally you have assembly or construction experience, are comfortable with hand and power tools, and bring a can-do, punctual attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or basic construction experience is preferred but not essential.
• Manual handling and use of power tools preferred but not essential.
• A flexible team player with a responsive and can-do attitude.
• Ability to follow a process and work to targets – H&S, Quality and Productivity.
• Punctual with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms & utility cupboards.
• Basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & other maintenance duties.
• Ensure all Company procedures are followed.
• Undertake any training as required, and assist in training other team members.
• Ensure factory areas and workspace are tidy and maintain high housekeeping.
• Work safely and take responsibility for Health & Safety of yourself and colleagues.
• Any other duties required by factory supervisors.

Factory Operative - Modular PODS & PUCS
Location: Carlton on Trent, NG23 6NT
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm

JRL Modular are looking for Factory Operative to assembly Utility Cupboards, you will need ideally an eletrical background or able to use hand tools.

This is a Permanent PAYE position based at JRL Modular factory in Newark, NG23.

DUTIES

• Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms & utility cupboards
• basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & other maintenance duties
• Ensure all Company procedures are followed.
• To undertake any training as required, and to also assist in the training of other team members in the tasks you are proficient at.
• Ensure factory areas and your work space is kept tidy and clear and that a high level of housekeeping is maintained.
• To work safely and take responsibility for the Health & Safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Any other duties required by factory supervisors.
