Job summary

JRL Modular is seeking a Factory Operative to assemble modular cupboards and pods at our Newark-based facility. The role requires basic construction skills, use of hand and power tools, and a strong team ethic.

You will follow procedures, maintain safety standards and contribute to training where needed. Permanent PAYE position at the Newark site, with standard shifts and opportunities to grow skills across maintenance and installation tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or basic construction experience is preferred.
• Manual handling and use of power tools preferred but not essential.
• Flexible team player with a can do attitude.
• Ability to follow a process and work to targets – H&S, Quality and Productivity.
• Punctual with an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of modular apartments, bathrooms & utility cupboards.
• Basic carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical & other maintenance duties.
• Ensure all Company procedures are followed.
• Undertake any training as required, and assist in training other team members.
• Ensure factory areas and your work space are tidy and that a high level of housekeeping is maintained.
• Work safely and take responsibility for Health & Safety of yourself and colleagues.
• Any other duties required by factory supervisors.

Factory Operative - Modular PODS & PUCS
Location: Carlton on Trent, NG23 6NT
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm

JRL Modular are looking for Factory Operative to assembly Utility Cupboards, you will need ideally an eletrical background or able to use hand tools.

This is a Permanent PAYE position based at JRL Modular factory in Newark, NG23.
