Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Factory Operative for a busy Royston area manufacturing team. This genuine temp-to-perm opportunity suits reliable, hardworking candidates looking for a long-term position with potential to become permanent.

You will operate production machinery, follow schedules, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Own transport is essential due to location, and hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–5:00pm, with weekly pay at £13.00–£14.00 per hour.

Factory Operative – Temp to Perm

Location: Royston area
Pay: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Our client is currently looking for an experienced Factory Operative to join their busy and established manufacturing team in the Royston area.

This is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and looking for a long-term position with the opportunity to become permanent.

Due to the location of our client, you must have your own transport.

Duties will include:

• Operating production machinery and equipment

• Working within a busy factory/production environment

• Following production schedules and meeting daily targets

• Carrying out quality checks on products

• Completing production and quality paperwork

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Following health & safety, hygiene and quality procedures

• Reporting machinery faults or production issues

• Supporting other members of the production team when required

The ideal candidate:

• Previous factory, manufacturing or production experience

• Own transport is essential due to location

• Reliable and punctual

• Good attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Flexible and willing to support different areas of production

• FLT licence desirable but not essential

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday
7:30am – 5:00pm

£13.00 – £14.00 per hour

Overtime available at an enhanced rate.

Weekly pay
