Job summary

Prime Appointments are recruiting for a Factory Operative in Chelmsford, Essex, with a pay of £12.71 per hour and a temporary-to-permanent contract. Immediate start available, with on-site parking and ongoing training offered.

You must have your own transport and prior factory/production experience is preferred. The role involves loading/unloading machinery, operating equipment safely, performing quality checks, measuring/assembling to spec, using hand tools, and supporting general production

Prime Appointments are recruiting on behalf of a well-established market-leading manufacturer based in Witham, Essex. We are looking for an experienced Factory Operative to join their production team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Factory Operative Duties

As a Factory Operative, your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading production machinery
• Operating machinery safely and efficiently
• Carrying out quality control inspections to ensure products meet company standards
• Measuring and assembling products to specification
• Using a variety of hand tools during the production process
• Supporting general production and housekeeping duties as required
