Barbour is recruiting a Factory Manager for our South Shields facility. You will lead the factory operations, drive continuous improvement in quality, cost control and service delivery, and grow customer service through repairs and reproofing.

We seek an experienced manager with a background in manufacturing/textiles, strong people leadership, and a proven track record in budgeting, safety, and cross-department collaboration. The role includes staff development and on-site responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive managerial experience.
• Ability to set budgets and manage costs.

Aufgaben

• Maximise efficiency of the manufacturing system with continuous improvement.
• Increase staff engagement through clear communication and leadership.
• Produce management reports on progress towards objectives and targets.
• Track staff performance and identify training requirements.
• Ensure capabilities meet customer requirements for cost, quality, and responsiveness.
• Set and review budgets and manage costs.
• Promote safe working practices and participate in H&S meetings.
