Barbour, headquartered in South Shields, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the Supply Chain team. The role focuses on controlling and delivering the product range, ensuring finished goods move from international supply base to worldwide distribution centres on time and within cost targets.

Key duties include raising Purchase Orders accurately, coordinating with QA and production teams, updating the Infor M3 system, and liaising with freight forwarders for efficient shipping.

Qualifications

• Garment procurement experience and general procurement experience.
• Experience in production planning.
• Experience working with freight forwarders.
• Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and drive performance.
• Ideally experience with offshore supply base.
• CIPS Diploma desired but not essential.
• High level of numeracy.
• Strong Excel skills with formulas and pivots.
• Competent with IT packages including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication to build internal/external relationships.
• Attention to detail and accuracy first time.
• Effective time management and prioritisation.

Responsabilités

• Raise Purchase Orders accurately and on time.
• Liaise with QA and technical teams to hit milestones.
• Monitor PO progress with supplier meetings and factory visits.
• Update Infor M3 data from WIP and shipping docs.
• Review and expedite sales priorities with suppliers and freight options.
• Ensure POs are delivered on time and optimise order fulfilment.
• Maintain PO plans reflecting capacity, holidays and lead times.
• Coordinate bookings with freight forwarders.
• Order and deliver samples for seasonal launches.
