Job summary

Shillito Executive Search is seeking a Factory Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy UK manufacturing facility employing around 100 people. This is a senior, hands-on role with full ownership of production, safety, quality, cost and maintenance, reporting into senior leadership.

The successful candidate will lead from the front, drive performance, and take responsibility for the factory, its people and the results it delivers, in a fast-paced environment.

• Senior leader with proven track record in Factory/Operations/Production Management.
• Visible, hands-on leader who makes decisions and takes ownership.
• Experience in UK manufacturing environment preferred.

Shillito Executive Search has been exclusively retained to appoint a Factory Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of a busy UK manufacturing facility employing around 100 people.

This is a senior operational leadership role for someone who is comfortable being visible, hands-on and accountable for the performance of the entire factory.

Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of:

• Production and operational performance
• Health & safety
• Quality
• Cost and commercial performance
• Stock and inventory
• Maintenance
• Productivity and efficiency

We are keen to speak with experienced leaders currently working in Factory, Operations or Production Management who have a proven track record of leading teams, improving performance and delivering results in a manufacturing environment.

This is not a desk-based management role. We are looking for someone who leads from the front, makes decisions, solves problems and understands the operational and commercial consequences of those decisions.
