Job summary

Shillito Group are seeking a senior Factory Manager to lead a fast-paced manufacturing site in Sheffield. You will own factory performance across production, people, quality, cost, maintenance, stock and continuous improvement, with responsibility for the budget and P&L.

This role requires someone who can walk the factory floor, set clear expectations and drive accountability at all levels. You will be expected to be hands-on, visible and decisive, challenging managers when needed and delivering

Qualifications

• Strong experience running a substantial manufacturing operation.
• Experience managing managers, supervisors and large shop floor teams.
• The confidence to make difficult decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and experience with manufacturing budgets and P&L.
• A solid understanding of production, maintenance, quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience improving productivity, reducing waste and driving accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own factory performance across production, people, quality, cost, maintenance, stock and continuous improvement.
• Be visible across the factory, walk the floor and drive change with clear accountability.
• Manage the manufacturing budget and P&L with a focus on labour efficiency, scrap, downtime and material usage.
