Job summary

Ibstock Plc seeks a Maintenance Manager at our Dewsbury factory to lead engineering and maintenance teams, delivering continuous improvement and robust maintenance planning. You will drive capital projects, manage the CMMS/PPM tools and ensure adherence to statutory Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication at all levels and proven supervisory experience within manufacturing.

Qualifications

Experience in supervisory roles within manufacturing.
Strong communication across all levels of the business.
Ability to implement structured problem solving and delegate.
Experience with absence management and assessments.
High computer literacy and numeric skills; proficient with CMS/PPM systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and promote company, factory and team plans and ensure delivery.
People management, motivation and development through performance reviews.
Provide engineering/technical expertise and apply IMS tools for Continuous Improvement.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environment procedures.
Analyze engineering, production and process data to hit targets.
Develop systems/standards for world-class housekeeping using 5S.
