Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing business in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent. It is a hands-on, mechanically biased role supporting the Maintenance Manager with upkeep, repair and smooth operation of factory machinery and general site maintenance.

The role involves carrying out maintenance and repairs, diagnosing faults, supporting planned and reactive maintenance, and collaborating with production and the wider site team.

Qualifications

• Mechanically biased maintenance experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, factory or production environment.
• Hands-on fault finding and repairs.
• Relevant engineering qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repairs on factory machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Assist with general site maintenance (buildings, grounds, workshop).
• Keep the maintenance workshop clean, organised and safe.
• Work closely with production and the wider site team.
