Job summary

Premier Work Support is recruiting a Factory Labourer for a well established engineering employer in the Medway Towns. The role is temporary with a view to permanent for the right candidate after a qualifying period. You will join a hands-on team and receive training.

Hours are 06:00 to 16:30, Monday to Thursday (40 hours per week) at £12.86 per hour, with overtime available at an enhanced rate. Immediate starts are available.

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing materials and moulds for casting.
• Pouring molten aluminium into ceramic moulds.
• Moving moulds through the casting process.
• Cleaning moulds after casting.
• Manual handling.
• Completing basic production records via touch screen systems.

Job description

A well established and highly successful engineering company based in Medway Towns is looking to recruit a Factory Labourer initially on a temporary basis. This is a "hands on" role with training provided. There is a permanent opportunity for the right candidate after a qualifying period.

You will be working Monday to Thursday, 06:00 to 16:30, 40 hours per week, £12.86 per hour.

Overtime is also available at an enhanced rate.
