Facility Supervisor (Caretaker)
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: A GBP 28,163 - GBP 30,060 per annum, pay award pending
Hours: 37 hours per week
Facility Services and Civic Management work across the city and Gateshead, providing building cleaning, caretaking, school meals, and welfare catering services.
They have a large team of cleaners, cleaner supervisors, facility supervisors (caretakers), catering assistants, assistant chefs, and chefs working various hours and shifts in schools and public buildings.
Their service is committed to delivering high standards of service to their customers and investing in staff development.
They are currently looking for reliable and friendly individuals with a positive attitude to join their team as a Facility Supervisor (Caretaker).
To succeed, you must be able to undertake split shift requirements, manage building security, set alarms, handle health and safety issues, and supervise cleaning staff.
You will manage your own time, handle varying workloads, and clean a designated area for approximately fifteen hours weekly. Flexibility around key school events and lettings is required.
To work effectively in a busy school environment, you should be positive, hardworking, and able to build good relationships with staff, children, and parents. A commitment to high standards of service and customer care is essential.
