Job summary

Blackpool Skip Hire Ltd. currently seeks a multi-skilled maintenance technician to install, inspect, repair and maintain alley gates, playground equipment and outdoor facilities to keep assets safe, secure and operational.

You will perform practical maintenance, basic groundworks and DIY tasks under supervision, adhering to health and safety requirements. Key duties include repairing gates and fixtures, carrying out groundworks, inspecting playgrounds, assisting with installation/removal of

Qualifications

Full UK Driving Licence required.
Relevant practical maintenance, groundworks, construction or similar hands-on experience.
Willingness to complete RPII qualification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain alley gates, fencing, posts, locks, hinges and fixtures.
Carry out basic groundworks including digging, excavation, post installation and concreting.
Inspect and repair playground equipment and associated facilities.
Install and remove playground equipment, gates and outdoor fixtures.
Carry out general facilities maintenance and DIY tasks including carpentry, painting and day-to-day depot upkeep.
Undertake basic grounds maintenance including grass cutting, strimming and hedge cutting.
