What You'll Do:
Your Impact: As a Facilities Technician, you will be in a property-based position focused on the routine maintenance of buildings and structures and support for events and programming at Appleton Farms in Ipswich. You'll be responsible for identifying resource care needs, completing maintenance tasks, and supporting visitor services infrastructure to ensure visitors have an enjoyable and safe experience at the property.
The Role: Working both independently and with other staff and volunteers, you will perform routine maintenance and complete projects to care for facilities, structures, landscapes, equipment, and other natural and cultural features as needed. You will be primarily hands-on with minimal administrative tasks. You will report to the Stewardship Manager and work closely in support of other property staff.
Specifically, you'll:
Property Maintenance:This is a part-time, nonexempt position (20-25 hours/week) reporting directly to the Stewardship Manager.
