Job summary

CBRE in Stevenage is seeking a Technical Service Manager to oversee engineering and facilities maintenance for client occupied buildings. You will drive efficient operation of critical and non-critical services, lead an engineering team and coordinate contractors to meet contractual commitments.

You will manage electrical and mechanical plant, implement safety and QA processes, and develop financial plans for efficient operation and contract growth.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Proven experience with business-critical engineering systems.
• Strong people management and team leadership skills.
• Good written and verbal communication; well organized.
• Able to adapt work patterns quickly to client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract delivery and ensure commitments are met/exceeded.
• Oversee electrical and mechanical plant services (PPM and reactive).
• Direct and supervise contractors and subcontractors on site.
• Maintain safety, QA, and CEWA’s risk assessments.
• Report on engineering issues to senior management and client.
• Manage daily and shift engineer teams and holiday/sickness levels.
