Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or building services leadership.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and risk assessment.
• Experience managing contractors and overseeing maintenance activities.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Competent IT skills for records and reporting.
• Relevant qualification in facilities management or related discipline.
• IOSH/NEBOSH certification is desirable.
• Experience with compliance and statutory maintenance for commercial sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the facilities team to ensure efficient site operations.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, prioritise and resolve issues.
• Support health and safety compliance and safe working practices.
• Conduct regular inspections, identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Manage supplier and contractor relationships to meet standards and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records for maintenance, inspections and compliance.
• Assist with budgeting and resource planning for facilities activities.
• Ensure facilities services meet service levels and respond to site needs and escalations.
• Promote a positive safety culture and safe systems of work.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and customer experience.
