Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an organised, proactive Facilities Support Manager to lead facilities services at Broadford Hospital on the Isle of Skye, with duties also at Kyle of Lochalsh Health Centre and Dunvegan Health Centre. This Band 5 post is a 36-hour-per-week role based in a busy operational setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in staff supervision or management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload.
• Catering knowledge and HACCP experience.
• Experience with training, compliance and service standards.
• Familiarity with PECOS, SSTS, TURAS and iMatter systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Team Leads and Facilities Supervisors to oversee day-to-day operations.
• Co-ordinate services across Broadford, Kyle of Lochalsh and Dunvegan sites.
• Monitor workloads, performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Support staff induction, training and development programmes.
• Manage procurement, ordering, stock control and reporting.
• Ensure food hygiene, infection control, waste and health/safety compliance.
