Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a proactive Facilities Support Manager to lead day-to-day Facilities operations at Broadford Hospital and supporting Kyle of Lochalsh Health Centre and Dunvegan Health Centre.

The Band 5 post offers a salary of £34,543.38 to £43,039.53 per annum, with hours 36 per week over five days. The role requires strong leadership, organisational and customer-service skills, plus experience in catering and HACCP.

Qualifications

• Experience of staff supervision or management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Catering knowledge and experience of HACCP are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Team Leads and Facilities Supervisors to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of services.
• Coordinate a range of services within Facilities and maintain service continuity across Isle of Skye sites.
• Monitor standards, workloads and performance, supporting continuous improvement.
• Provide induction, training, appraisal and development for staff including TURAS and iMatter.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, infection control, waste and health and safety requirements.
