Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an organised, proactive Facilities Support Manager to support the delivery of high-quality Facilities services at Belford Hospital. The post holder will lead day-to-day operations, supervise Team Leads and Facilities Supervisors, and coordinate a range of services across Lochaber sites.

The role is Band 5 with a salary of £34,543.38 to £43,039.53 per annum, depending on experience. It is a permanent 36-hour week, Monday to Friday, with additional opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience in staff supervision or management.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Catering knowledge and HACCP experience is essential.
• Knowledge of NHS Scotland policies and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Team Leads and Facilities Supervisors.
• Coordinate Facility services and maintain continuity across Lochaber sites.
• Monitor standards, workloads and performance; drive continuous improvement.
• Support training and development including TURAS and iMatter.
• Ensure food hygiene, infection control, waste and health and safety compliance.
