The position is bank-based with weekend shifts available. Induction and training are provided, with pay from £14.22 per hour and an enhanced rate for weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and service across Catering, Laundry and Domestic services.
• Regenerate meals and prepare salads, sandwiches and snacks as part of catering duties.
• Meet Laundry Services standards per NHS Scotland specifications.
• Work on a Facilities rota, including weekend coverage when required.

Facilities Bank Assistant, Hour Post Based at Portree Hospital Skye

We are currently seeking to recruit Bank Facilities Assistant to join our team in Portree Hospital. This post will be based in Portree Hospital Skye. The successful applicant’s role shall be to provide services to the Catering, Laundry and Domestic services.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid 19 guidance and maintaining compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations.

To meet specified cleaning schedules, and promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment.

Catering duties include regeneration of meals and preparation of salads, sandwiches and snacks.

To meet specified Laundry Services to the standard of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.

This is a Bank post to be available to work on a Facilities rota and to cover weekends if required. We offer a full comprehensive induction and training package.

Rate of pay from £14.22 an hour with an attractive weekend working rate.
