Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is seeking a Facilities Supervisor (Mandarin Speaking) to oversee day-to-day maintenance, safety, and site operations across multiple Barking-based sites. You will coordinate contractors, ensure compliance with Health & Safety, and maintain accurate records, while acting as the Mandarin-speaking point of contact.

Reporting to the HR & Administration Manager, the role requires fluent English and Mandarin, strong organisational skills, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Facilities Supervisor, Coordinator, or Facilities Management role.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Strong understanding of facilities operations and Health & Safety compliance.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and site operations.
• Manage external contractors and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and conduct site inspections.
• Travel between sites to support projects and maintenance requirements.
• Act as the main point of contact for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Maintain maintenance records, compliance documentation, and contractor performance reports.
• Support facilities projects and provide out-of-hours assistance when required.
