Job summary

Equans is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Brighton Law Courts, Edward Street, BN20LG on a 6-month fixed-term basis. This full-time role is 40 hours per week with a salary of £27,000–£29,500 per annum, plus a benefits package.

You will lead cleaning teams across the HMCTS site, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety, and first-rate customer service. The role requires UK travel, BPSS vetting (including DBS clearance), and flexibility for early

Qualifications

• Experience of industry/public cleaning services (essential).
• Previous experience supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential).
• COSHH knowledge (desirable).
• Understand basic health and safety principles.
• Able to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent specified standard of cleaning.
• Previous experience leading remote teams.
• Good communication and customer care skills.
• Team player with proactive problem solving.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload with limited supervision.
• Basic IT knowledge and Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead cleaning teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the HMCTS site.
• Supervise teams across multiple locations and ensure professional conduct with staff and public.
• Travel across the region as required and support flexible hours including early starts and evenings.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety requirements and BPSS/security checks.
