Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is seeking a Facilities Supervisor to join our team in Southampton on a permanent, full-time basis. You will lead cleaning teams at HMCTS sites, ensuring high standards of hygiene, health and safety while maintaining professional service.

The role requires travel across the region, flexibility for early starts, evenings and weekends, and BPSS vetting with DBS clearance. A competitive salary of £27,500–£28,000 is offered with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience of industry/public cleaning services (essential).
• Previous experience supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations (essential).
• COSHH knowledge (desirable).
• Understand basic health and safety principles.
• Able to motivate a cleaning team to attain a consistent specified standard of cleaning.
• Previous experience of effectively leading remote teams.
• Good communication and customer care skills.
• Team player with proactive problem solving.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload with limited supervision.
• Basic knowledge on IT and Microsoft office systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cleaning teams for HMCTS site to maintain high hygiene, health and safety standards.
• Supervise cleaning teams across the government contract to ensure quality service.
• Travel across the region with flexibility for early starts, evenings and weekends.
• BPSS vetting and DBS clearance are required for the role.
