Job summary

Equans is seeking a Facilities Supervisor in Southampton to lead cleaning teams at SOUTHAMPTON COMBINED COURT, SO15 2XQ. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week), with a salary of £27,500.00 - £28,000.00 per year, depending on experience and benefits.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, with some flexibility for early starts, evenings and weekends. Travel within the region is required and BPSS checks apply.

• Experience of industry/public cleaning services is essential.
• Previous experience supervising cleaning teams across multiple locations.
• COSHH knowledge is desirable.
• Understand basic health and safety principles.

Job description

Equans is looking for a Facilities Supervisor to join our team in SOUTHAMPTON COMBINED COURT , SO15 2XQ on a Permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £27,500.00 - £28,000.00 per annum depending on experience and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700

What will you deliver?

Reporting to the area facilities Manager you will be the leading the cleaning teams for their HMCTS site that keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public.

As a facilities Supervisor you will be responsible for supervising our cleaning teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and customer service is maintained across our large-scale government contract.

This is a Monday - Friday role, however there is some element of flexibility required with early starts, evening, and weekends. The role requires covering a region and therefore must be able to travel.

BPSS Quick Guide

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).

• Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
• Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
• Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
• Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
• Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.
