Job summary

Equans is seeking a Facilities Supervisor in Southampton to lead cleaning teams at SOUTHAMPTON COMBINED COURT, SO15 2XQ. The role is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week), with a salary of £27,500.00 - £28,000.00 per year, depending on experience and benefits.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00, with some flexibility for early starts, evenings and weekends. Travel within the region is required and BPSS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience of industry/public cleaning services is essential.
• Previous experience supervising cleaning teams across multiple locations.
• COSHH knowledge is desirable.
• Understand basic health and safety principles.
• Able to motivate a cleaning team to attain a high standard of cleaning.
• Experience leading remote teams.
• Good communication and customer care skills.
• Team player with proactive problem solving.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload with limited supervision.
• Basic knowledge of IT and Microsoft Office systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead cleaning teams to maintain high hygiene and safety standards.
• Supervise across locations and ensure excellent customer service.
• Coordinate early starts, evenings, and weekend coverage; travel as needed.
