A leading healthcare organization in Stroud is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee cleanliness audits, ensure food hygiene standards, and manage staff training and supervision. The role involves problem-solving and stock management to maintain high service delivery standards.
Responsible for completing cleanliness audits in line with the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021. Identify any shortfalls within the cleanliness and environment of the ward/unit and bring them to the attention of the appropriate person/department, implementing actions to address issues as required.
Ensure food hygiene standards are met by completing regular audits. Provide staff training to ensure food is prepared, cooked, and served in accordance with Trust policies and procedures, taking into account specialist diets and cultural requirements.
Responsible for investigating and resolving issues such as stock problems and deliveries, ensuring alternative solutions are in place if required.
Oversee day-to-day staff supervision, including planning staff rotas to ensure shifts are covered. During staff absences, act to ensure uninterrupted service delivery. Support the management team with staff induction, probation, and appraisals, including developing and implementing individual development plans.
Provide on-the-job training to ensure staff are competent in their roles, identify training needs, and support additional training using the Trust's care to learn training packages.
