Your new role
Your new role will be based within the internal on-site facilities team. You will be expected to deliver an integrated, flexible, and high-quality facilities management service, putting staff and participant safety as a priority at all times. Ensure the highest standards of facilities management best practice, statutory compliance, security housekeeping and general health and safety are always maintained and provide cover for the Facilities Manager when absent.
Key Responsibilities: Facilities Management: Maintain facility standards, coordinate maintenance, and manage repair tasks
Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulations, conduct risk assessments, and oversee health and safety protocols
Security and Fire Marshall: Manage access systems, oversee security measures, and participate in emergency response
Cleaning and Infection Control: Monitor cleaning quality, organise specialist cleaning, and ensure infection control measures are in place
Inspection and Audit: Support auditing processes and quality checks to maintain facility standards
General Responsibilities: Promote equality, handle administrative tasks, and participate in staff development
What you'll need to succeed
- NEBOSH Certificate (General or Fire)
- Fire Warden training
- FM experience within a complex environment
- COSHH
- Knowledge of H&S and compliance in operational estates
