Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting a Facilities Colleague to support the Screwfix contract in Lichfield. The role is full-time and permanent, with rotating shifts 06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility.

You’ll help maintain the site’s décor and fabric, manage recycling, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met. Benefits include pension, cycle to work and extensive discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in building fabric maintenance and light repairs.
• Commitment to hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Ability to work in a team and follow schedules.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal and external site décor and building fabric; carry out repairs as needed.
• Sort recycling and waste; ensure items are stored for collection.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the site.
• Operate counterbalance and MHE cleaning equipment.
• Perform daily yard duties: bins, pallet control, and wash areas.
• Support with racking maintenance, service and repairs.
• Assist with testing fire alarms, points, sprinklers and other systems.
