GXO Logistics, Inc. in Milton Keynes is seeking a Facilities Service Engineer to perform planned mechanical maintenance on cage and rack systems, including repairs and inspections.

The role uses a CMMS to support efficient operation and may require covering other Waitrose sites. The position is full-time, Monday–Friday on a rotating shift (05:30–13:30 and 13:30–21:30) with a salary up to £32,000 per year plus a benefits package including pension, private medical and dental insurance, 24/7 online

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship in mechanical/engineering preferred.
• 18th edition wiring desirable but not essential; employer will support.
• Mechanical/engineering background required or advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out mechanical preventative maintenance on cages and racks.
• Perform reactive repairs and PPMs; conduct rack inspections.
• Utilise CMMS to support smooth operation.
• Cover maintenance tasks at other Waitrose campus sites when needed.
