World Leader in Glucose Monitoring, Abbott Diabetes Care designs, develops, and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings. Our Witney site is positioned at the centre of both Manufacturing Excellence and Innovation in the development and manufacture of our test strip and biosensor products used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. As a result of strong business growth, industry-leading product development in the biosensor business and a long-term commitment to high volume manufacturing in our Witney Centre of Excellence, we have an exciting opportunity to join our site Facilities Engineering team, with a particular focus on contractor management.
To be successful, you will ideally have served a recognised apprenticeship within an electrical engineering, building services, or facilities related field, or bring strong experience in a similar role with equivalent level qualifications. You will possess a breadth of experience in contractor management and project planning/leadership. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, highly organised, and excited about joining a team at the forefront of Diabetes Care innovation.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a small team, but also interact on a wider business scale. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
