Job summary

Amey is offering a permanent on-site plumber role at HMP Ranby. The position involves routine and non-routine maintenance, mains water supply repairs, fault finding, inspections, and risk assessment, with a 39-hour weekly schedule and a 1-in-4 weekend rota with a 15% allowance on basic salary.

Candidates should have an NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating, plus experience in plumbing maintenance, light plant operation, and preferably Legionella awareness.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance.
• Experience in operating light plant.
• Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Routine and non-routine maintenance.
• Mains water supply repairs.
• Fault finding: identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
• Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
• Any other duties commensurate with the role.
