Job summary

TfGM Greater Manchester is seeking a Site Coordinator to support the safe, smooth operation of a busy bus station or interchange. You will be highly visible on site, assist customers, coordinate incidents and help keep the station welcoming and accessible.

Hours are 06:00–24:00, 37 hours per week, with a shift roster and a 15% shift allowance. TfGM offers competitive benefits and a focus on flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or supporting others in a busy operational environment.
• Strong customer service skills, with a genuine desire to help people.
• The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with incidents, service disruptions or challenging situations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with a wide range of customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
• An understanding of health and safety responsibilities and the importance of maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
• Good IT skills, including experience of using Microsoft Office applications and completing reports or records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supervise or support staff across a busy operational site.
• Provide travel information and assist customers on site.
• Coordinate responses to incidents and disruptions.
• Monitor health and safety compliance and carry out site checks.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming and accessible station for all users.
