Job summary

Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trusts is seeking a Facilities Operations Operative to join the Estates and Facilities Team as a Helpdesk Operator and Patient Movement Dispatcher. You will log requests for Soft FM services across departments and manage patient movement using the Concept and Nervecentre systems to ensure patients reach appointments on time.

The role involves 37.5 hours per week in afternoon shifts, with the possibility of weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Log requests for Soft FM services across departments (Logistics, Cleaning, Laundry, Transport, Pest Control) and for Patient Movement using Concept and Nervecentre systems.
• Allocate workloads to Patient Movement staff and ensure timely response to service requests.
• Maintain regular contact with users of Patient Movement Service and coordinate with ward staff and modalities.
• Provide efficient Patient Movement service and ensure high standards of dispatch operations.
• Act as a role model, following policies and delivering a patient-focused service.
