Job summary

C&C Search is recruiting a Facilities & Operations Manager for a Central London-based, globally recognised charity. You will lead a multi-disciplinary facilities team, oversee a multi-occupancy estate and work closely with senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

The role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and safety compliance, plus a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong facilities management and building maintenance expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor a facilities team including an Assistant Manager and Maintenance Operatives
• Take ownership of all planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the site, ensuring building systems and infrastructure operate efficiently
• Manage contractors, suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality, compliance, value for money and adherence to agreed service standards
• Oversee building operations including maintenance, health & safety, security, cleaning and reception services
• Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and ensure all maintenance records, certifications and documentation remain up to date
• Manage facilities budgets, forecasts, procurement processes and supplier performance
• Present facilities updates, performance reports and project updates to senior stakeholders and committees
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, sustainability programmes and operational efficiencies across the estate
• Support event operations and ensure facilities services are delivered seamlessly for large-scale events and activities
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, tenants, estate partners and external contractors
