The Operations Coordinator at The UCL School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) will ensure smooth day-to-day running of the department, overseeing premises, health and safety, and financial processes. The role involves providing essential administrative support, supervising staff, and coordinating provisioning to meet department needs.

Reporting to the HR Officer, the postholder will enhance efficiency and effectiveness, contribute to safety compliance, and support future capacity

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in an operational role within a Higher Education Institution.
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and Teams.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing departmental premises: room and desk allocations, cleaning and maintenance.
• Coordinate health and safety matters as Departmental Safety Officer.
• Support financial processes: invoices, purchase orders and routine financial reporting.
• Oversee general provisioning: stationery, photocopier agreements, furniture purchases.
• Ensure facilities, resources and administrative processes are managed efficiently.
