Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Facilities Manager – Soft Services to lead a range of workplace services across our Bexhill locations and other sites. You will manage housekeeping, front-of-house security, catering, events and supplier contracts, while ensuring health, safety and compliance, delivering cost-effective services and an excellent employee experience.

Reporting to the Property Services team, you will lead diverse teams, manage budgets and drive continuous improvement, sustainability

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge of commercial FM soft services processes and relevant health and safety requirements.
• A health and safety qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely, or willingness to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational teams within facilities management or workplace services.
• Manage multiple soft service functions (housekeeping, security, catering, reception, events, supplier contracts).
• Build and manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers.
• Oversee health, safety and compliance in a commercial/corporate setting.
• Manage budgets, cost control and service performance.
• Coordinate projects, workplace changes or service improvement initiatives.
