Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is looking for a Facilities Manager to lead a team responsible for operating and maintaining a portfolio of small to medium sized buildings, ensuring reliable service delivery and compliance with safety standards.

You will supervise staff, schedule daily activities, manage repairs with technicians and vendors, oversee budgets, and drive process improvements in line with CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required; Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong leadership to motivate teams and improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Excellent organizational skills and numerical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, oversee training, performance evaluations and coaching.
• Schedule and manage daily activities; set work schedules and deadlines; cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain client relationships and conduct meetings on facility issues.
• Prepare and manage capital projects, budgets, and variance reports.
• Ensure QA inspections and compliance with regulations; identify improvements.
• Oversee health, safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Review vendor quotes and manage procurement of parts and services.
• Lead by example; align with CBRE RISE values and stakeholder agreements.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day operational issues.
