Job summary

IWFM is seeking a Facilities Manager for our client in Welwyn Garden City on a permanent basis. You will oversee two sites, collaborating with the Factory Manager and local teams to deliver compliant, well-maintained facilities.

You will drive health and safety standards, contractor management, budget control, and asset performance across both locations, with focus on sustainability, business continuity, and security. Ideally IWFM level 4+ and IOSH/NEBOSH certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management in a large distribution/manufacturing environment.
• Managed multi-site locations and strong H&S understanding.
• IWFM Level 4+ or higher is preferred.
• IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH certification is desirable.
• Fleet operations knowledge and FMCG familiarity advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two sites in Welwyn Garden City and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness across locations.
• Lead maintenance, planning, and asset performance.
• Manage contractors and SLAs to deliver outcomes.
• Control budgets and resource planning for sites.
• Drive sustainability, environmental compliance, and safety.
• Support business continuity and site security.
• Collaborate with the Factory Manager and local teams.
