Job summary

Apleona UK is seeking a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee building services, PP maintenance, minor projects and statutory compliance on site at Halstead. You will lead on-site cleaning and waste management teams, ensure safety, cost-effective operations and strong client relations.

The role requires IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent, experience with CAFM and Trend Building Management Systems, and the ability to plan, prioritise and coordinate multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent H&S qualification (or willingness to obtain within an agreed timescale).
• Competent in the use of CAFM systems and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook; PowerPoint desirable).
• HV functional switching experience / authorisation.
• Experience with Trend or similar Building Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all building services and soft FM services on site, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operation.
• Oversee reactive and planned maintenance, minor projects and statutory compliance.
• Lead on-site cleaning and waste management staff and supervise subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings, provide service updates and maintain strong client relationships.
