Job summary

APEM Ltd is seeking a Facilities Team Leader to manage and develop the facilities team across the UK and Ireland. This on-site role in Stockport focuses on keeping offices running safely and efficiently, coordinating maintenance, security, waste, equipment and supplier activities while supporting office moves and audits.

The ideal candidate will have facilities management experience, team leadership skills, and a solid understanding of health and safety and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management including the day-to-day maintenance and operation of workplaces.
• Previous experience managing or coordinating a team.
• A good understanding of health and safety, compliance and risk assessments.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee practical facilities activities including building maintenance, repairs, health and safety compliance, security, cleaning, waste management, office supplies and asset management.
• Coordinate the day-to-day work of Facilities Co-ordinators and prioritise requests to provide a reliable service.
