Job summary

APEM Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Team Leader for our Stockport office. You will lead the day-to-day facilities team, coordinate co-ordinators, and ensure our offices across the UK and Ireland run safely and efficiently.

You will oversee building maintenance, repairs, health and safety compliance, security, cleaning, waste management, office supplies and asset management, while supporting office moves, refurbishments and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, including the day-to-day maintenance and operation of workplaces.
• Previous experience managing or coordinating a team
• A good understanding of health and safety, compliance and risk assessments.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and a flexible attitude towards occasional travel across the UK and Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day work of Facilities Co-ordinators to provide reliable service.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, health and safety compliance, security, cleaning, waste and asset management.
• Be the main contact for colleagues, landlords, contractors and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support office moves, refurbishments, inspections and audits.
• Identify practical process improvements to use resources more effectively.
