Role Overview

As the Facilities Manager at The Manor Hospital, you will ensure a clean, tidy, and healthy environment for staff and visitors. You will lead, motivate, supervise, and develop the cleaning team, maintaining consistency across the hospital and managing cleaning and waste services in support of departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop departmental operations, contributing to wider business planning and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee local IT issues, liaising with IT support as needed.
  • Monitor health and safety compliance, including COSHH regulations.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and deliver projects aligned with business needs.
  • Conduct audits and reviews of hospital performance, addressing any issues identified.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and legislation, including health and safety regulations.
  • Develop, review, and update local policies and procedures in accordance with statutory and organizational guidelines.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and agencies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide data and information to other hospital departments as required.

  • Previous experience in a similar role with comparable responsibilities.
