Job summary

Bruntwood SciTech in Birmingham is seeking a General Maintenance Team Member to uphold high standards across our Centre City buildings, delivering reliable maintenance and caretaker duties as part of Bruntwood’s service. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with training provided and a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and proactive problem solving in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of presentation around entrances, common areas and facilities
• Open/lock up buildings as required
• Prepare rooms for meetings and serviced spaces
• Ensure vacant suites are inspected and maintained
• Carry out PPMs including fire testing and emergency lighting
• Check plant/equipment for performance and safety
• Perform regular building checks and monitor progress of jobs
• Highlight and address health and safety concerns (training provided)
