Job summary

Bruntwood is seeking a General Maintenance Team Member for the St James Building in Manchester. The role covers maintenance and caretaker duties across a group of buildings, including entrances, common areas, and servicing rooms. It is a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.

You will perform routine checks, attend to preventive maintenance, and support meeting rooms. Training provided; a can-do attitude and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Training provided; maintenance experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of presentation around entrance and common areas (showers, lifts, toilets, corridors).
• Open and lock up of buildings as required.
• Support for meeting rooms by preparing rooms in advance for customers.
• Ensure vacant suites are checked and maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out PPMs including fire testing and water temperature checks.
• Monitor and ensure effectiveness of plant, equipment and fabric to meet customer service standards.
• Perform regular building standard checks and inspections.
• Monitor and complete jobs; respond to safety concerns with training provided.
