Job summary

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting a Facilities & Maintenance Technician for a well-established organisation in Kettering. The role is hands-on, covering general maintenance, site security, health and safety, and involves operating a FLT and occasional heavy lifting. Working hours rotate on a three-week pattern with on-call duties; salary up to £25,000 plus an on-call allowance, with 25-30 days leave depending on service; must have a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities, maintenance, caretaking, site services or a similar hands-on role.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out general facilities, caretaking and maintenance duties.
• Undertaking basic DIY, plumbing, painting and decorating.
• Operating a FLT as required.
• Completing toilet and facilities logs.
• Opening and closing the site and maintaining site security.
• Acting as a site key holder.
• Responding to intruder and fire alarm call-outs.
• Carrying out safety and maintenance checks on pool vehicles.
• Conducting routine Health & Safety checks.
• Supporting hospitality requirements when required.
• Assisting with occasional heavy lifting and moving of equipment.
• Working closely with colleagues across different departments to support the smooth running of the site.
