Job summary

CareTech Group is seeking a Maintenance Operative for The Oakleaf Hartwell site in Northampton. The role is permanent and full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with travel between sites required.

You'll perform general maintenance, painting, cleaning and grounds duties, help operate heating and hot water systems, and maintain the building exterior. Strong communication and basic IT skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role is essential.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations is preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Basic IT skills including MS Word and email use are expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance tasks as instructed.
• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating.
• Assist with cleaning or grounds tasks as instructed.
• Assist in operating and maintaining heating and hot water plant.
• Assist in maintaining the outside fabric of the building.
