Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is looking for a Maintenance Operative in Oxford to maintain all buildings, properties, and gardens to high standards. You will respond to maintenance requests from students and staff, handle plumbing and carpentry tasks, and participate in small building upgrade projects.

This role requires physical fitness, good building maintenance knowledge, and flexibility for on-call duties. Benefits include a salary of £34,500k, overtime rates, excellent pension, and 30 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Good all-round general knowledge of building maintenance and practical experience.
• Understanding of Health and Safety legislation relevant to this position.
• Physically fit to meet job demands.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance issues raised by students and staff.
• Perform plumbing repairs and basic carpentry.
• Lead upgrade projects for College buildings.
