Job summary

Bruntwood invites applications for a General Maintenance/Facilities Team Member in Leeds City Centre. The role covers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in the Leeds City Centre building (West Village).

Shifts rotate between 6am-3pm, 7am-4pm and 9am-6pm, with a focus on high standards of building presentation and upkeep. Training will be provided; candidates should be enthusiastic, adaptable and able to work well independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of presentation around entrance and external grounds and all common areas (showers, lifts, toilets, corridors).
• Open and lock up buildings as required.
• Ensure vacant suites are checked and maintained to a high standard.
• Carry out daily building standard checks and inspections.
• Perform PPMs including fire testing, water temperature checks and emergency lighting.
• Ensure plant, equipment and fabric deliver the required customer service and operational standards.
• Monitor and complete jobs.
• Address health and safety concerns promptly.
