Job summary

Deverell Smith Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Operative for a brand-new Build-to-Rent development in Leeds. The role is hands-on, covering general maintenance and repairs across the development, with shifts from 07:00 to 18:00 and a 1 in 4 Saturday pattern, paid weekly holiday pay.

You will join the on-site team responsible for day-to-day maintenance and resident-facing tasks, with immediate availability preferred. On-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Previous, relevant experience in a maintenance, repairs or facilities role is essential.
• Hands-on approach to general repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Relevant maintenance training/qualifications.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts, including weekends.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Maintenance Operative - Build-to-Rent | Leeds | Urgent Requirement

£31,200 basic (£15.00 per hour), plus holiday pay - paid weekly!

Hours

• 8-hour shifts, working between 07:00-18:00
• Includes 1 in 4 Saturdays, with a day off in lieu during the week

We're looking to fill this role as soon as possible.

This is a brand-new, premium Build-to-Rent development in Leeds, comprising around 488 apartments and extensive resident amenities. The on-site team is responsible for looking after the building and its residents, including day-to-day maintenance and repairs - and we need an experienced maintenance professional to join the team without delay.

The Role

This is a hands-on maintenance and repairs role, supporting the building team with general maintenance, basic repairs and practical day-to-day tasks across the development.
